The Affenpoo is a hybrid breed that combines the Affenpinscher ratter breed with the Poodle. It can combine any of the three standards of Poodle, which are toy, miniature, and standard. This unique mix has resulted in a small-sized designer dog with a big personality.

The Affenpinscher is an ancient breed that originated in Germany. They were bred as ratters and guard dogs for homes and stables. The breed is known for its intelligence, loyalty, and fearlessness when it comes to protecting their family.

The Poodle is a versatile breed that was originally developed in Germany as a water retriever. They are known for their intelligence, trainability, and hypoallergenic coats. The combination of these two breeds results in an intelligent and loyal companion with a low-shedding coat that requires minimal grooming.

The Affenpoo has a distinctive appearance with its round head, large eyes, black nose, and long ears that hang down close to its cheeks. Its coat can be curly or wavy depending on which parent it takes after more closely. It usually ranges from black or gray to white or cream in color.

This hybrid breed tends to have an outgoing personality and loves being around people. They are highly social creatures who thrive on human interaction and love spending time playing with their family members both indoors and outdoors. They do well in apartments due to their small size but need regular exercise like walks or playtime outside to stay healthy and happy.

The Affenpoo is generally healthy but may be prone to certain health conditions such as hip dysplasia, patellar luxation, progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), Legg-Calve-Perthes disease (LCPD), epilepsy, allergies, ear infections, eye problems, heart murmurs, tracheal collapse, Von Willebrand’s disease (VWD), hypothyroidism, Addison’s Disease (AD) ,and skin disorders such as sebaceous adenitis (SA). Regular visits to the vet will help keep your pup healthy by catching any potential issues early on before they become serious problems.

Overall the Affenpoo makes an excellent companion for those looking for an intelligent yet loyal pet who loves spending time with their family members both indoors and outdoors! With proper care they can live up to 15 years so make sure you’re ready for this long term commitment before bringing one home!
