A big, blue plastic pool filled with ice? Yeah, that will do.
Bulldog owner Michelle Guo expected her dog Walter, who adores water and chewing on ice, would be the most delighted when she set up an ice pool in the backyard for her canines. Chandler went in first when her dogs saw the pool, while Walter stood carefully on the sidelines as she jumped in with a running start.
A sharp temperature change would have been too upsetting for the puppies, so Guo carefully set up the pool on a sunny but not overly warm day.

Chandler, who leaped in and out of the ice with such enthusiasm and desire that it seemed like she was creating a new Olympic sport, was very much in the ideal temperature.
This playful, upbeat attitude is a crucial component of Chandler’s character. For Walter, her brother Chandler has been a godsend. Walter was assaulted as a puppy before his mother saved him, which resulted in his anxiety. She was brought to Walter as a comfort animal, and she has been incredibly successful in helping him come out of his shell.
Chandler not only consoles her brother but also showers Guo with never-ending affection.
Guo said, “When Chandler is with me, I always feel safe. She likes to sleep on the bed like a human, with her head on a pillow.”
Chandler is a dog that demands nothing in return and is eager to give unending attention.
