There’s a simple fact about dog ownership: you can never know what’s going to set your dog off until it actually happens, and sometimes it can be from the most seemingly innocent things. We have seen dogs afraid of coffee mugs. We have seen dogs who are terrified of cows. And now, thanks to Diane Danylko, we have a gorgeous dog who absolutely despises another dog so much that he is ready to rumble.

Ummm.. Who will inform him? We truly adore how he is snarling and growling at the strange dog who has abruptly entered his personal area! Or perhaps he’s envious because this other dog is so cute? Who knows what he’s thinking, but he cracks us up!
Your dog may be unsocialized to other dogs and perceive his own reflection as a threat if he barks at his own reflection. However, if you want to stop your dog from engaging in this behavior, you could want to spend some time with him at a leashed dog park where he can interact with other dogs. Some owners might be cool with this (and we are right here wanting to giggle at this poor pooch wanting to beat himself up!). perhaps even meet some new people! Even if this dog’s adversary is adorable, playing with him isn’t as much fun as playing with a dog that isn’t simply a reflection.
