Stephanie Thomas — dog mama in question — named one black pup “Curtis Johnson,” which sounds like some sharpshooting Western outlaw. There’s a Curtis Johnson who coaches football for the New Orleans Saints.

When Stephanie came home to find garland all over the floor and several chewed ornaments, she zeroed in on little Curtis — who, unlike the other hot doggers running around the parlor — lounges on what appears to be a small white trampoline.
