Since 2020, Pinto Bean’s parents have been creating TikTok videos, and stage combat is one of their favorite things to feature in them. Because of this, Pinto Bean has spent most of her life witnessing them engage in pretend combat with makeshift swords. One day, however, she decided she wanted to join in.
When Pinto Bean spotted a huge stick lying nearby as the couple was out in a field recording a new video, she seized the chance.

Pinto Bean’s mother, Anna Kimbro, told The Dodo that her daughter “picked up the stick and started chasing me down while waving the stick around like it was her own sword.” “She was having joy trying to evade and strike as I pretended to ‘stop’ her punches with my sword. Finally, I let her “slay” me, and after she tapped me with her stick, I dramatically collapsed to the ground.

As Kimbro fell, she dropped her sword, and Pinto Bean swiftly made the decision to claim it as her own.

Immediately after dropping her stick, Pinto picked up the sword and took off as she had just robbed my dead body, according to Kimbro. She had picked up all of that from observing us, so we began giving her my stolen blade to use as her own, and the rest is history.

Pinto Bean is the sole owner of the foam prop because she defeated her opponent with that sword. She also enjoys using a small imitation dagger. She recognizes when it’s time to battle whenever she sees one of those. Pinto Bean has been participating with her parents in any type of stage battle since the very beginning, and she has always loved it.

Swordfighting is now a career for Pinto Bean. Her routine includes playing with her swords, and she appears to believe that all dogs interact with their masters in the same way.

Every week or two, we play with her sword, according to Kimbro. “We try to do it fairly frequently, even though we don’t always record it for TikTok or Instagram, because she likes doing exercise that way. She will nearly always take a stick and try to “battle” with it, even if we don’t get her sword out. She has even attempted to use a stick to “fight” my parents’ dog, Luna, who is her best buddy, and she appeared astonished when Luna reacted by running away and saying,”Ahhh, what are you doing?” and didn’t reach for a weapon to defend himself.

It’s absolutely rare for a dog to enjoy stage combat, but Pinto Bean finds it to be natural.
