Last weekend, runners from all over the world came in New York City to take part in the renowned NYC marathon. Locals crowded the streets to support the competitors as they ran the 26.2 miles through the various boroughs of New York City. And even the animals showed up to show their support!
TikTok pup @beckhamthegolden joined his owners and city people to support the marathon runners on the city’s pavements. However, the Golden Retriever went a little beyond simply applauding. He inspired a lot of runners. Check it out.

Oh my God, even though we aren’t runners, we just know that this would be the best part of our race. Why wouldn’t it be? We would surely keep going if we saw a dog. In addition to the runners who were practicing, it appeared that this decent boy was also preparing for this day. He really did comprehend the task!
According to @winnietheblackmouthcur, “The marathon dogs are the inspiration we all need in a run.” We might consider running if there were dogs in the “pet crew” at every race.
