Even if a dog’s love is unconditional, that does not imply that human love is also. Ask TikToker and dog parent @britbolin, who was flat-out rejected by her dog when she leaned in for a kiss. Truthfully, if that were us, we’d be pretty upset!
The silly Catahoula Leopard Dog did not hesitate to accept kisses from her father, but she objected when her mother did the same. We would be astonished at such apparent rejection if we weren’t too busy LOL-ing!

LMAO! Although the difficulty is so relatable, we do feel a little awful for laughing so much. Even if it only happens occasionally, it can be upsetting when a pet is obviously partial to someone other than you.

It’s an even bigger kick in the pants that she rejects Mom’s attempts at affection, asks for kisses from dad, “and STARES AT YOU THE WHOLE TIME.” @Brandsammich knows exactly what we’re talking about! The mixed signals–wanting kisses and then rejecting them–are endlessly confusing.
“That dog secretly thinks about taking you out of the picture ,” guessed @blrichards. We wouldn’t be surprised! The vibe between them here feels tense to say the least, though we can’t judge anything off of one video. Maybe the Catahoula just wanted her dad!
