Every day, 1,300 stray dogs are cared for by a custom dog shelter in China. A group of elderly women who rise at 4 AM to feed the dogs administers the entire organization.
The women acknowledge that the dogs aren’t always the nicest, occasionally biting and nipping at them. However, that has never prevented the women from carrying on with their tasks.
These women have given these dogs their entire attention for the past six years. Even on holidays, they take care of them.
They are similar to your children in that you cannot stand to be without them or to lose them.
Even the women have been bit by the dogs, but the women claim it’s just part of the job.
Only donations are used to run the shelter. Every day, the women prepare 400 kilos of food!
Even though they may not have much, they make the best use of what they do have.
Although China frequently receives negative headlines in relation to animals, there is always another side to the story!
It is such a heartwarming story of a group of elderly women who dedicate their lives to a pack of stray dogs.
