The internet is enchanted by a lovely video that shows a dog gently rocking a sleeping child in a bouncer.

Any new parent will tell you that occasionally the littlest things may have a major impact. With this footage, it very definitely seems like such is the case.

When WeRateDogs posted a video of Bowser the dog working overtime to keep his owner’s young child sleeping on Twitter and Instagram, it first gained widespread attention. It is accessible here.

The mere sight of this adorable dog cuddling up to the newest member of his human family will move hearts even if the pet dog isn’t giving the essential muscle.

Suspension of disbelief is worthwhile because there is no conclusive evidence that Bowser isn’t the one doing the labor either.

If the comments are any indication, there must be a lot of worn-out new parents out there who would value this compassionate dog’s assistance.

Tim Snell said, “Is Bowser available? I need a nap.” while Daivgrl posted, “Bowser, help! My little one is going through sleep regression! I neeeeeeeed yooooouuu!”

Others found it a simple joy to witness a dog lying next to a newborn asleep. James Huntington declared, “This is the most beautiful thing I have seen in some time.” Gary Howard concurred, “That’s amazing!”

There was a general feeling of gratitude for Bowser’s efforts elsewhere. “Never works a day in his life because he loves his job,” Wakeley Pups wrote. “Definition of a mutually beneficial relationship,” Mallorydotcom added.

There was, however, a shared appreciation for dogs beyond everything else. Ovid Priffer referred to them as “The most wonderful creatures in the world,” while J. T. Frederick declared, “We really don’t deserve the love dogs give us.”

The family dog may experience difficulties when a new infant enters the home, just as the family members do.

The Kennel Club recommends the phrase “Include, don’t exclude” to any dog owner hoping to make the transition as easy as possible.

“Reward your dog for approaching the baby calmly and gently,” they recommend. “Don’t shout at him for getting it wrong or for trying to get your attention. Gently show your dog the right way to behave.”

It has shown that young children and dogs have an unusual affinity.
