Judge the Anatolian Shepherd is one busy boy. In addition to helping his humans look after the animals at Raventree Ranch, this 11-month-old livestock guardian dog is taking on the role of a new friend. He just met his first newborn baby goat, and he’s taking his job very seriously.
As devoted to his job as Judge is, we can tell it all comes from love. No wonder his owner had to share his precious encounter on the Ranch’s TikTok account!

Aww, Judge! This big boy is going to be the best guardian of the little goat. In fact, he already is! He was so careful when stepping around the baby, and he stayed nearby to take a nap, too.
“He’s so gentle OMG,” said viewer @beargerserb. “He has good guarding instincts. I am impressed. Good boy Judge!” You couldn’t be more right! Despite being less than a year old, this pup is extremely calm and collected around the kid. He’s already so dedicated to his job, and he’s only going to do better and better as he grows.
@Nocturnalias wrote, “Judge probably: ‘don’t make unnecessary journeys, don’t take risks on treacherous roads and don’t swim in the sea!'” LOL! As true as that sentiment is–this protective pup will absolutely keep his farm friends safe–it’s also the perfect reference.
We couldn’t agree more with @sem4343 if we tried. They said, “OMG, I can’t wait to see this relationship grow!” We can already tell that it’s going to be the stuff of dreams.
