One man in Jacksonville, Florida, had to go through an awfully painful experience when his dog, Daisy, suddenly went missing one day. Losing a pet is like losing your own child. It can be devastating.
Apparently, the man’s son had accidentally left the gate open, and Daisy had somehow managed to get out and escape. Dogs can usually find their way back home, but due to some reason, Daisy hadn’t returned.
The family started fearing for Daisy. They spent the next two weeks searching for Daisy everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found. Just as they were about to lose all hope, something incredible happened!
The family’s babysitter had spotted a photo of a dog on a local shelter’s website. The dog in the photo looked strikingly similar to Daisy and had been put up for adoption. The family rushed to the shelter and told the shelter workers their story.
Turns out someone had found Daisy wandering the streets and brought her in. The shelter workers told the man that Daisy had been depressed ever since she had come in.
But today was different. Today Daisy was finally going to be reunited with her dad. The moment Daisy spotted her dad, she went crazy with excitement. The shelter workers immediately knew these two weren’t strangers.
Daisy returned home happy with her dad, and we hope she won’t get lost ever again! What a feeling it must be to find your lost pet after such a long time!
