With a narrative about a bulldog, TikTok user @handoverrover, a dog trainer in Arizona, has broken our hearts. Gus the dog is a pitiful creature who wound up in a shelter. Our hearts bleed when we learn of any animal living at a shelter because none of them should be there. They all merit devoted homes.
How could someone do this? This dog in particular is breaking our hearts since his owners “gave up on him.” Poor Gus is so perplexed right now. Hopefully social media will be able to help Gus.

Gus didn’t deserve this, ugh. This is not fair to animals. We find it hard to comprehend that his prior owners simply gave up. We wish people understood how much effort pets require. The number of animals entering shelters might then decrease.
“People don’t deserve dogs, but all dogs deserve a home. Bless this sweet angel with a forever home,” commented @tinkerbell2400. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. If you aren’t ready for the responsibility, then don’t bring home a pet. It’s that simple!

We’re confident that social media will help this fur baby out. “I will drive up there right now and bring him home,” said @dondennis6. At that’s not the only TikToker who wanted to bring Gus home. He’ll have a loving family in no time!
