Everything happened because this cute dog wished for belly rubs.
A friendly black dog unexpectedly charged the field as the women’s soccer match between Chile and Venezuela was tied at 0-0. A different “goal” was what she had in mind.
And she succeeded.
The dog jumped onto the back of the closest player she could see and demanded a rubdown. She didn’t stop there:
Although it’s unclear where the dog came from, judging by the players’ positive reactions, she’d picked the best game to interrupt.
Although Chile won the match 1-0, the Venezuelan team came out on top. However, there is no question as to who took home the victory.
