The Russian Toy is a small, elegant, lively dog with long legs, fine bones and lean muscles. It is one of the smallest breeds in the world, and it has been around for centuries. The breed was originally bred in Russia from the English Toy Terrier. It was first recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2022.

The Russian Toy is known for being athletic, intelligent, loyal, humorous, and highly trainable. They are active and cheerful dogs that possess keen intelligence and an eagerness to please their owners. They are also low-maintenance when it comes to grooming with a lifespan of 10-14 years.

The Russian Toy is a very special looking breed with two types of coats: smooth coat and long coat. The smooth coat is short and glossy while the long coat is slightly longer but still smooth. Both coats come in various colors such as black & tan, white & tan, red & tan, blue & tan or any combination thereof.

These dogs have an independent spirit but they are also very affectionate towards their owners. They are alert watchdogs that will bark at strangers but they are not aggressive towards people or other animals. They make great family pets as they get along well with children and other pets if properly socialized from an early age.

Russian Toys need regular exercise to stay healthy and happy; however they do not require extensive amounts of exercise like some larger breeds do. A daily walk or playtime should be enough to keep them fit and healthy. They can also be trained to participate in agility competitions or other activities such as flyball or obedience trials if desired by their owners.

Overall, the Russian Toy is a wonderful companion dog that loves its family unconditionally and will always be there for them no matter what life throws at them! With proper care and attention these little dogs can live long happy lives full of love!
