Teresa Castro Avila decided that it was best to pay for a ride the other day and took a cab to her location. However, she was unaware at the time that this transaction would go down in history.
It turned out that the cab driver had a specific financial manager.
When Avila got inside the taxi, she saw a tiny dog curled up on the front passenger seat. She was his devoted dog, Chiqui, the driver, David, revealed.
“[David] told me that he has no one to leave his dog with and he doesn’t like her to stay home alone,” Avila recounted. “So he [thought it] better to take her to work.”
However, Chiqui is David’s coworker, not just a friend at the office. Avila saw the small dog’s contribution to the job at the end of the ride:
Avila wrote: “The dog knows how to receive the payment and deliver it to her beloved owner.”
Although it’s unclear how long David and his dog have been cooperating in this way, there’s no denying that Chiqui’s presence makes the world a better place.
