Dogs are intelligent creatures, and they frequently demonstrate their intelligence. Dogs occasionally pick up strange tricks and perform them with joy to show off their skills and win praise. One TikTok pooch acquired an odd talent and loves to show off that he knows it.

Recently, @siriuslysalem, a TikTok user, released a video of her Doberman, Salem, responding to an important question for her. Salem’s mother asks him in the video, “What does a kangaroo do?” and he responds in just the right way. Watch the video to hear what this pup has to say about these native Australian marsupials.

Salem’s jumping was highly praised in the comments section. @_kajci said, “His facial expressions are cracking me up.” and @lindyofthemountain commented, “I cannot tell you how much joy this brought to my Monday.” This video is the perfect way to bring a little extra joy into your day. We recommend playing it on a loop!

@siriuslysalemThey bounce? Duhhhh (follow my eye-G. I post there way more)

Salem’s intelligence greatly impressed the people around her! @makaylakelley895 commented, “What in tarnation, how did you teach him that?” Another user, @alexispearsonmusic, asked, “Wait did you just teach him that today? That’s amazing,” and Salem’s mom replied, Yes LOL. He was super amped up this morning and I’m off today. So we did some training. He’s ridiculously smart.” WOW! We are so impressed with how quickly Salem was able to learn this command!

We cannot wait to see what Salem’s mother teaches him next; perhaps he can pick up an entire repertoire of animal behaviors so they can put on a one-dog show!
